Framing traps ahead of COP26

In this critical year of COP26, over which the UK Government will preside, nothing is more vital than that the UK media avoids two framing traps, propagated by vested economic interests, which undermine the public and political will for the urgent change of trajectory that is required:
  1. the UK is a “climate leader” (it’s now for other countries to step up)
  2. it’s “climate action vs jobs”
