5 more young people jailed for try to stop war crimes
Five more jailed today in Glasgow for direct action against war crimes Today at Glasgow Sheriff Court, five young people from Palestine Action Scotland were jailed after they occupied Thales’ weapons factory in Govan, Glasgow, on 1st June 2022. The five 1 occupied the roof of the arms maker and dropped banners to disrupt production. Two of them also damaged weaponry inside the building. Stuart Bretherton, 26, Eva Simmons, 26, Calum Lacy, 23, Erica Hygate, 23 were jailed for 12 months, Sumaya Javaid, 22, for 14 months.
