Plan B files case for Supreme Court

We’ve now filed our response to Heathrow Airport Limited’s appeal to the Supreme Court.
 
Boris Johnson claims that “we will ensure that we abide by the judgment and take account of the Paris convention on climate change” and the Government itself is not appealing, but Heathrow Airport is arguing that the Paris Agreement is not part of Government policy on climate change.
 
The stakes could hardly be higher, in the UK and beyond. The hearing is 7-8 October. We don’t yet know whether it will be in court or online:
